We have one day to go! I am assuming that it is home free from here for most of you. Have you begun to think about how much of this diet you want to continue once the cleanse is over? Here are a few points to think about…
DAY 13
1. Daily Affirmation:
“I have a healthy body and I will maintain and strengthen it.”
At this point in the cleanse you are probably feeling noticeably different. You may be bloated less, your pants may feel looser. You will probably have a ton more energy that lasts throughout the day. Your face may have cleared up. Whatever the changes you have seen, you need to thrive on them. Use them as motivation! If you’re anything like I was, you may not have noticed too many changes during your first few weeks of this lifestyle, if you stick with it, you will! It took me 3 months and 7 colonics to really feel 100%. During this time the tumorized lymph node in my neck shrunk completely to my touch. If you or a loved one is afflicted with cancer, definitely read more about the protocol I used. You’ve done so much hard work these past two weeks. Make sure you take what you’ve learned from these past 13 days and apply it every day here on out.
2. Today’s Menu:
Breakfast- green tea, Cee-Light Smoothie (1 banana, 1 peeled orange, 2 Tbsp sunflower seeds, 1 Tbsp coconut oil, 2-3 leaves chard, 1 cup water, 2 ice cubes)
Snack- red pepper slices and flax crackers with hummus.
Lunch- Cortney’s Green Smoothie (1/2 avocado 3 handfuls baby greens, 1/2 c broccoli sprouts, 1/2 bell pepper, 1 handful sunflower sprouts, 1 tomato, 1/2 c cauliflower, 1/2 c beans of your choice, 2 whole carrots, 1 apple)
Snack- juice- (1 beet, 1 cup pineapple, 2 sticks celery)
Dinner- BIG salad (baby greens, sunflower sprouts, 1/4 red onion, pecans, 1 chopped apple or pear, broccoli, hummus)
Dessert- naturally uncaffeinated herbal tea
3. Daily Questions:
What changes in yourself and body have you noticed?
Any affirmations that have really helped you?
Hey Court!
My sister Karis. She’s the older one that has a baby. We are doing good so far. Decided to start yesterday. I did get sick last night though. At 3am, I woke up and got sick. I wonder if it was the green tea or just my body getting rid of toxins?
Thanks!
My pants are fitting quite nicely 🙂 even though I’m only staying true to the cleanse with two meals a day.
Hey Courtney!
I just got on the bandwagon! I think I will start the cleanse on Monday and begin prep today. Is it ok to exercise on the cleanse? How about massage? I’ve heard massages are bad when detoxing.
My sister will join me. I’m doing it because I was just diagnosed with Celiac Disease. I think a detox is a good start to gluten-free living! My sister is doing it for health and weight loss. Do you think weight loss is really possible on the cleanse?
Thanks!
Bailey Cordero (used to be Coleman 😉 )
Hey Bailey!
That’s so great to hear you’ll be doing the cleanse. 🙂 I am about to finish up! The most important thing to remember is to EAT EAT EAT. You will feel fatigued and starving if you’re not eating enough. With a raw foods diet like this you have to eat a lot. YES- exercising is great, but you’ll need to eat even more. Fruit is great for the extra energy. I’m not 100% but I think a massage moving towards you lymph nodes would be GREAT detox! It would help drain toxins from your tissues towards the outlets your body offers (lymph nodes.)
Which sis is joining you? It is DEFINITELY great for weight loss. I lost 3.5 pounds in the last 13 days. Some might be water weight, but my clothes feel much better fitting. Let me know if you have any other questions or just need support while on the cleanse!
