I know everyone will want to prepare tonight for Days 4-7. Definitely be adventurous with these menus! Try different greens if you have them. Add veggies, make your own salad dressing, whatever it takes to keep your time on this Cleanse “spicy.” AND one thing I left off of the list that would be helpful: organic almond milk. If you don’t want to go buy it, water will be fine, but almond milk has tasty qualities you would enjoy. 🙂 For those of you looking for Day 3, it is right below this post.
June 7- Day 4
B- green tea, GaGa Smoothie (1 cup organic almond milk, 1 large banana, 8-10 strawberries, 2 Tbsp raw almond butter, 1 large handful spinach, optional- honey to taste)
S- green juice (tomato, carrot, cucumber)
L- Salad with guacamole, (guacamole < 1 avocado, 1/4 diced red or white onion, Herbamare or sea salt to taste, chopped tomato, cilantro to taste> chopped romaine lettuce, black beans, chopped tomatoes, 1/2 lime squeezed, 1/2 red bell pepper chopped, olive oil)
S- carrot sticks with hummus, green juice (2 carrot, 1 tomato, 5 leaves any green)
D- Cortney’s Green Smoothie- (1/2 avocado, 3 handfuls baby greens, 1/2 c broccoli sprouts, 1/2 bell pepper, 1 handful sunflower sprouts, 1 tomato, 1/2-1 c freshly cooked/frozen beans of your choice, 2 whole carrots, 1 apple)
Dessert- naturally decaffeinated herbal tea.
June 8- Day 5
B- green tea, green juice ( 1 bunch watercress, 2 carrots, 1 cucumber)
S- apple with almond butter
L- Savory Green Smoothie (1 large handful spinach or red lettuce leaves, 1/4 bunch of fresh basil, 1/2 lime juiced, 1/2 red onion, 2 celery sticks, 1/2 avocado, 2 c water) Feel free to add other veggies to this one!
S- rice cakes or organic flax crackers
D- BIG salad (sunflower sprouts, sunflower seeds, baby or regular spinach, sliced almonds, 1/2 red onion, 1/2 avocado sliced, sliced red pepper, hummus, broccoli, dressing of your choice)
Dessert- naturally uncaffeinated herbal tea
June 9- Day 6
B- Apple Blueberry Almond Butter smoothie (1 apple, 2 Tbsp almond butter, 1 cup almond milk, large handful spinach)
S- red pepper slices and flax crackers with hummus.
L- Cortney’s Green Smoothie (1/2 avocado 3 handfuls baby greens, 1/2 c broccoli sprouts, 1/2 bell pepper, 1 handful sunflower sprouts, 1 tomato, 1/2 c cauliflower, 1/2 c beans of your choice, 2 whole carrots, 1 apple)
S- juice- (1 beet, 4-6 sticks of celery, 2 carrots)
D- BIG salad (baby greens, sunflower sprouts, 1/4 red onion, pecans, 1 chopped apple or pear, broccoli, hummus)
Dessert- naturally uncaffeinated herbal tea
June 10- Day 7 (Yeah! We made it a week!)
B- green tea to start, juice (1 apple with any veggies you have leftover…NEVER waste veggies. JUICE them and drink!)
S- carrot or celery sticks with hummus
L- BIG Salad with guacamole, (guacamole < 1 avocado, 1/4 diced red or white onion, Herbamare or sea salt to taste, chopped tomato, cilantro to taste> chopped romaine lettuce, black beans, chopped tomatoes, 1/2 lime squeezed, 1/2 red bell pepper chopped)
S- apple with almond butter
D- Savory Green Smoothie (1 large handful baby greens or red lettuce leaves, 1/4 bunch of fresh basil, 1/2 lime juiced, 1/2 red onion, 2 celery sticks, 1/2 avocado, 2 c water) Add any leftoever veggies to this one! Make sure to use them all! Add more water if needed.
