Oh my gosh, how I LOVE a delish guacamole recipe. Back in the P.C.D. (pre-cancer days,) I could put down an entire bag of tortilla chips in one sitting if you gave me enough guacamole to pair it with.
Nowadays a bottomless basket of tortilla chips is a thing of the past, but I can still savor and cherish my guacamole! This recipe is naturally paired with two other anti-cancer powerhouses: peppers and carrots for scooping.
Anti-Cancer Benefits of This Recipe:
- Carotenoids in carrots, peppers, and avocados are anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory.
- The fat in avocados help carotenoid absorption making this recipe a perfect cancer-fighting combination.
- Onions and garlic are part of the cancer-fighting brassica family.
- Compounds in avocados have been found to combat leukemia stem cells.

Thanks sooooo much for sharing such wonderful and healing information. I followed the steps for the guacamole last night, this was my very first time ever making it. Came out soooo yummy, tasted just like the guac at one of my favorite restaurants! My son didn’t even like guacamole until last night. He loved it and stole my 2nd guacamole cup!
I honestly thank you again.
YEAH! That’s awesome 🙂
What about adding cut up grape tomatoes, and a finely minced fresh garlic clove?
My dehydrated raw flax crackers go great with guac, hummus and salsa.
Yum- sounds wonderful!
Thanks. Just an FYI, black pepper is an acidifying food, to maintain an alkaline environment in your body you should avoid black pepper. I substitute with turmeric, delicious!!! Happy 4th
Hi Michelle, I had never heard about black pepper being acidic. I must add though that many of the studies that found turmeric to have potent anti-cancer properties found that combined with black pepper, the anti-cancer properties were greatly enhanced. I think that with anything, there must be a balance between the acid/ alkaline and also weighing the potential benefits of slightly acidic foods while focusing on adding alkaline foods. 🙂
